John comes from the US and graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with an honors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been teaching Math and Physics for 12 years in the US and HK and also holds a CELTA TEFL certificate from NYC. John worked in the U.S. as a biomedical engineer for 9 years before moving to HK.

He specializes in: AP, SAT, SSAT and IGCSE curriculums, but also teaches IB and A-levels.

Raymond completed his secondary studies and university in the UK where he graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BA in Communication and English Studies. He then earned a masters degree in “English Studies for the Professions” in Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has worked in secondary schools in the UK and Hong Kong and has taught IGCSE, DSE, A-levels, IB English and Australian university undergraduate courses.

Stephen is an English teacher from the UK. He graduated from a British university, specializing in philosophy and economics. Stephen has lived in Hong Kong for 20 years and has worked at the Hong Kong Scout Association and several English
teaching institutions as an instructor and course planner. He knows how to help students overcome the fear of giving announcements in English and how to prepare for interviews to get their favorite school offer. He has taught grades 7-10 at Discovery Bay International School
Stephen specializes in IELTS, IGCSE and Business English for adults and teaching primary and secondary school students.

Sonia was born in Hong Kong and raised in the UK. She was educated in the UK throughout her school years and graduated from the University of Plymouth with a BSc in Human Bioscience and a Masters in Business Management (Finance). Sonia furthered her studies in Accounting with a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting from HKU Space and a TEFL teaching certificate. She has been teaching for the past six years in schools and learning centres in Hong Kong.

Kevin is one of our native English speakers from Ireland. He graduated from France with a Bachelor's Degree and a TEFL certificate.
He then earned a diploma from Harvard Business School. He has been teaching around the world since 2009. He has worked in schools and language centers, teaching everything from Phonics to business English, interview preparation and holds adult conversational classes. He is also fluent in French and teaches in our centers according to the Alliance Française curriculum.
He also specializes in: International school writing courses for students aged from Form 1 or above.

Maurice was born in Hong Kong and He graduated from Queen’s University in Canada with a Bachelor’s Degree in of Science. He has been working in different English learning centers in Hong Kong for over 15 years and He has taught the students in a wide range of ages.
His teaching experience is mainly in Grammar, Writing and Creative Thinking, especially for DSE, International School curricula and also for IELTS courses. He also teaches elementary adult classes.

Kelvin is our star Economics tutor. He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with an honors degree in Business Economics (BBA) where he was awarded the Honor of Merit. After that, he completed a master's degree in Marketing Management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has accumulated 16 years of teaching experience and is qualified as a professional financial consultant.
Kelvin has taught for universities, colleges, primary and secondary schools. He specializes in Economics for IB, A-Levels, AP and DSE curricula. Under his guidance, more than 95% of students have improved their scores, and more than 70% of them have reached their goals.

James is an English Teacher from the United Kingdom. He graduated from University of Bergen, Norway with a master’s degree in European Legal Studies. For the past eight years, he has taught both primary and secondary students in various schools across Hong Kong.
He has familiarity and extensive experience teaching DSE, Cambridge YLE (Starters, Movers, Flyers), Cambridge Key English Test (KET), Cambridge Preliminary English Test (PET), Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE), IELTS, IGCSE English and International AS and A-Level English exams.

Jason graduated from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom with an honors degree in Economics and Sociology and earned a master's degree in Science and Technology Management at the same university. He then studied and earned another master's degree in Business Administration at the Buckinghamshire New University in the UK.
Jason has 8 years of teaching experience. He has served as a university professor at the City University of Hong Kong and Beijing University of International Business and Economics, teaching business degree courses. He then served as a visiting university professor at the South China University of Technology, Hong Kong Hopkins Training and Education Group, Melbourne Polytechnic, and Macau Business Management Education Center. He teaches courses including Master and Bachelor (Honours) Degree of Business Administration, Global Marketing Strategy, Management Operation Strategy, Marketing Strategy and Thesis Research, etc. He also has 13+years in corporate finance.

Holly was raised and educated in England. She graduated from Keele University with a BA and University of East Anglia with a PGCE. She also holds a TESOL certificate. She has taught at a Secondary School and Sixth Form, which had the ethos of an International School, in England. She has taught MYP, IGCSE, HKDSE, A-Levels and IB for English, Religious Studies, Philosophy and Citizenship. She has been teaching in Hong Kong for four years and for 7 years in total.
She now specialises in: IGCSE English and English Literature.

Gloria graduated from Griffith University in Australia. She then continued to study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she studied and obtained TESOL, which is a globally recognized teacher professional qualification certificate. Since 2009, she has worked as an English teacher in different schools in Hong Kong. She is good at attracting the attention of students with interesting teaching methods.
She now specializes in: A-levels and GCSE courses, and she also teaches grammar courses.

Steve is from the UK where he graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Management. Steve has been teaching English as a second language for 10 years (in Spain, Greece, Mainland China and now Hong Kong). Before becoming a teacher Steve was a training manager in British and Indian banks. He is also a life coach, writer and is training to become a speaking examiner for the British Council.
He now specializes in: general English skills such as speaking and writing, business English and practice for Cambridge exams (KET, PET and IELTS).

Conan studied Chemistry at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He not only won first prize in the mathematics and science competitions in high school, but also won the Sir Youde Scholarship. He has also maintained the top three in the class during his 4-year college studies. Afterwards, Conan completed a postgraduate degree at the University of British Columbia, the top ranked comprehensive research university in the world and the second-ranked university in Canada where he continued to study chemistry, mathematics and published related works.

He now specializes in: A-level, and DSE mathematics and science, He most enjoys helping students overcome their fears and obstacles with science.

After completing his HK A-level and GCE A-level from St. Paul’s Co-educational College, Arnold went to Canada to continue his studies. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BSc Degree (with Distinction) in Mathematics and Statistics and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. Arnold went on high-school and university students in mathematics and physics, and for the last two years, he has been working as a mathematics teacher in a Canadian high school. He has strong communication skills and a passion for teaching, as well as helping teenagers both in academic work and preparation for their future.

Mr. Patrick is one of our English teachers, who has been in Hong Kong for more than two decades. He only takes on a few good students to help them get beyond the simple limits of classroom English. “Children can read more deeply from topics that interest them and then use that reading to enrich their own writing. Reading more and more difficult texts can be exciting and interesting; studying for big exams is not.”
Mr. Patrick comes from Canada, but has also lived in Great Britain and Australia. He has graduated from university four times (B.Sc. Biochem, TEFL, PGCE English Education, M.A. English) and secondary school twice.
Hong Kong University Press's Dictionary of Hong Kong English was co-authored by Mr. Patrick. He has also published more than 300 articles in Ming Pao, under the pen name John Larrysson. Mr. Patrick believes that learning is fun and those people who stop learning after they graduate, or retire, are boring.

Dora is a native English teacher, originally from Croatia. Dora was educated in both IB and A-levels curricula. She studied with IATA for a Tourism Management degree. Dora has been teaching English in Hong Kong for 6 years. She has worked in learning centres, local primary schools and kindergartens across Hong Kong. She has experience teaching different age groups as well as different curricula.
She now specializes in reading comprehension for primary students.

Thomas is from Australia and has been living in Hong Kong for 14 years where he has been teaching for 4 years. In class, he feels it is important to have a balance of fun mixed in with the education side of things.

She has grown up in Hong Kong and has 2 young children of her own. She graduated and went on to attain a CertTESOL. She has been working at ESF for 6 years and specialises in helping children excel in all aspects of learning, whether it is English, Maths, STEM, or even simply gaining analytical skills. She also has years of experience in helping children to gain confidence and essential language skills to ensure that they are ready for an admission
interview to get into their "Dream School".
